The BYD Atto 2 has been officially launched in the European market! This model sits between the Dolphin and the Atto 3 and belongs to the B-SUV segment, competing with models like the Peugeot e-2008 and Opel Frontera.

The Atto 2 measures 4.31 meters in length and 1.83 meters in width, but features a larger 400-liter trunk, thanks to the absence of a spare tire, which is not mandatory in Europe.

The Atto 2 is powered by a front electric motor producing 177 hp and 29.5 kgfm, and comes with a 45.1 kWh battery. Its range reaches up to 312 km in the WLTP cycle, higher than the 265 km recorded in the Inmetro cycle. BYD plans to release a version with a range of approximately 400 km in the future.

The Atto 2 will be available in Europe starting February 2025, with local production expected to begin in the second half of the year at BYD’s factory in Hungary. The estimated price is up to $30,909, aiming to compete even with more affordable models like the Opel Frontera, which starts at $25,700.
